just came back from the singapore expo. went there for a cat show! haha.. saw sooo many cute kittie cats! =D then after looking at them, i went to eat. and here i am.
shall blog about yesterday!!
i had a dentist appointment in the morning and i ran late for my chinese tuition. okay... then i went home and used the computer. was talking to nigel [ang] and i found out that he didn't even know that there was an avril concert yesterday! so we were talking about it then i went to get ready.
i got to the stadium fifteen minutes earlier then the time i was supposed to meet vivienne. but the queue was already f-ing long! so i quickly went to line up first. vivienne and her mum went to buy macdonald's.
then she met me and we ate while waiting. at about 7pm the doors opened. went in and got a space in the mosh pit. we were at about the fourth row from the front with the speakers facing directly at us?! woo. we waited and waited.
oh yes, there was this weird guy standing next to me. i would have thought he was gay if not for that girl clinging on to him. you know why i'd say that? well, his clothes were all either purple or pink AND his clothes were so tight PLUS his body size isn't exactly very flattering. sooo.. you get my point. then there were these three cute guys standing behind me. hahaha. lols. okay, i'll stop.
so it was exactly eight that the opening act came out.
PUG JELLY!!! cutie pies. hahaha. okaeee... the music was blasting into our ears! they played about 4 songs. the last one was come home soon. then the lights came back on. and people came onto stage to set it up. ouh. and guess what. they removed two from the front of the stage and took off the black cloth on two of those things that looked so suspect. bam. four on each side of two speakers stacked on top of one another. everybody was damn shocked by the amount of speakers. lols. waited for quite a while.
and then FINALLY. her guitarists started playing he wasn't then she appeared. the crowd went wild. she sang pretty well on stage actually. she sang a few of the old album's songs including i'm with you and complicated. and newer songs like for instance my happy ending, don't tell me and forgotten. i took like a gazillion pictures of everybody that went on stage to perform and a few short videos. i managed to pass my camera through the sercurity, you see. =]
she looks exactly like her pictures! i love her hair. she played the guitar, the piano and the drums! cool. her guitar was looking great with the checkered pattern on it. we both sang along. throat got extremely dry. ears were a little deaf and everyone was jumping and doing that punk hand sign thingy. lols. somehow while we were watching the gig, vivienne and i got pushed to the second row. haha. how nice.
it was just great. after that, had to go home... reached home at 11. early! haha.. next time, we must get a group to go and go for supper! whee!
phew. okay. had to get that out. now i'm stuck at home with a lot of homework to do! an essay! damn. i am so dreading school.
